Last September 9 the meeting “Terapias regenerativas basadas en plasma y plaquetas: del laboratiorio a la clínica” held at the headquarters of Santander International University Menéndez Pelayo, closed.
The course, led by Dr. Eduardo Anitua has attended prestigious international speakers from different areas of medicine like traumatology, oral medicine, dermatology and ophthalmology, among others.They have discussed the new therapies based on plasma rich in growth factors being applied in those medical disciplines.

Doctors Eduardo Anitua and Mikel Sánchez have been awarded the “Premio Nacional a las Artes y las Ciencias Aplicadas al Deporte” for their contribution to promoting or disseminating physical and sporting activity uniquely throughout his professional life. Among the winners in the 2014 edition are the motorcyclist Marc Marquez, the badminton world champion Carolina Marin and Colombian cyclist Nairo Quintana.

Eduardo Anitua is arranging an international meeting on regenerative therapies in the UIMP
Dr. Eduardo Anitua leads the meeting “Terapias regenerativas basadas en plasma y plaquetas: del laboratorio a la clínica” to be held at the headquarters of the Menéndez Pelayo International University of Santander between 7 and 9 September.
The course aims to describe the state of the art and the latest scientific and clinical developments in the use of biological therapies based on plasma and platelets for regenerative purposes, and will be taught by an international cast of renowned specialists from various research centers in US, France, UK, Italy and Spain.
