Eduardo Anitua Foundation begins its activity with the First International Symposium on Translational Medicine

Eduardo Anitua Foundation began its activity. It is a non profit organization with the purpose of promoting, boosting and developing the scientific research and its dissemination.. The foundation will research lines with a strong social character and promote To boost Health Care Activities so that disadvantaged groups can be treated with the latest advances in biomedicine.

Among others, it will promote biomedical research applied to regenerative medicine and tissue engineering, where, through the development he has achieved with plasma rich in growth factors after nearly 15 years of research, occupies a pioneering and very relevant international position in this field. The other pillars on which the activity of the Eduardo Anitua Foundation is settled are research, dissemination of scientific knowledge and specialized training in the bioscience field. The presentation of the Eduardo Anitua Foundation coincided with the introduction of its first activities of science dissemination and pioneering statewide, the First International Symposium on Translational Regenerative Medicine that took place last October 31 in Vitoria.

The event, which comes with a biennial periodicity, was opened by Dr. Rafael Bengoa, Minister of Health and Consumption of the Basque Government, and counted with speakers of the highest international level who shared their research and clinical experiences in the fields of regenerative medicine, tissue engineering and stem cells.
